Berry’s fall concert calendar has moved into November, and there are still six evenings worth saving a seat for.

The next performance puts Berry’s faculty artists in the spotlight on Thursday, November 5, at 7 p.m. in Bell Recital Hall.

Saxophonist Gary Paulo joins pianists Kris Carlisle and Kathryn Nobles for a program exploring music from around the world.

It is a chance to hear the musicians who help shape Berry’s music program take their own turn onstage.

And if one evening of music sounds good, the rest of the calendar offers several reasons to come back.

Five more dates to keep handy

Sunday, November 8, at 7 p.m.: STELLARUM brings its eight-voice professional choral ensemble to Bell Recital Hall.

Thursday, November 12, at 7 p.m.: the Berry College Jazz Ensemble performs.

Tuesday, November 17, at 7 p.m.: the Berry Community Orchestra takes the stage.

Thursday, November 19, at 7 p.m.: the Berry College Wind Ensemble presents Burnished Winds, featuring soloist Michael DeSousa.

Friday, December 4, at 7 p.m.: the Berry Choirs’ Holiday Concert brings the season toward a festive finish.

All performances are listed for Bell Recital Hall on the Berry College campus, 2277 Martha Berry Highway in Mount Berry.

The series is open to the public, and most concerts are free; check individual admission details before attending.

You can choose a familiar favorite or try a different musical style without turning the evening into a long road trip.

Invite a friend, allow a little time to find the hall and give these musicians an audience worth playing for.
