Berry’s fall music calendar still has plenty of good evenings left in it.

From choirs and faculty artists to jazz and a holiday finale, seven upcoming concerts give Rome-area listeners a reason to head to Bell Recital Hall between October 27 and December 4.

All seven announced performances begin at 7 p.m., so picking your evening may be harder than remembering the time.

Start with the voices

Tuesday, October 27, brings the Berry Singers and Berry Concert Choir for a fall program of praise music.

It is a chance to settle into a seat and let somebody else do the singing for a change.

November offers a little variety

Thursday, November 5: the Faculty Artist Series features Gary Paulo, Kris Carlisle and Kathryn Nobles.

Sunday, November 8: visiting choral ensemble STELLARUM performs.

Thursday, November 12: the Berry College Jazz Ensemble takes the stage.

Tuesday, November 17: the Berry Community Orchestra presents its concert.

Thursday, November 19: the Berry College Wind Ensemble presents Burnished Winds, featuring low-brass soloist Michael DeSousa.

You can stick with a favorite musical style or take a chance on something different without making an interstate expedition out of it.

Save a December evening

Friday, December 4, brings the Berry Choirs’ Holiday Concert, a useful date to claim before the December calendar fills itself.

The announced lineup is open to the public, and most concerts are free.

Check admission and the latest event details before attending.

Bell Recital Hall is on the Berry College campus at 2277 Martha Berry Highway in Mount Berry.

Invite somebody along, allow time to find the hall and give these musicians an audience worth playing for.
