First Friday Concerts Continue Following The Fourth!

First Watch opens in Publix Shopping Center!

🎉 Welcome to The Seven Hills Spotlight! 🎉 I have been sending this newsletter out for the past 6 months in one form or another. My wife and I sit down every few weeks to check our calendars to see what events we might like to support or attend. These always include Rome Little Theatre, Rome Shakespeare, Rome International Film Festival, Shorter University Theatre, Berry College Theatre, Rome Festival Brass, and Rome’s Own Music Ensembles. Sadly, there is no place that has a single inclusive calendar that includes all of these events.

As I have tracked these events, I have uncovered new and exciting venues. I reached out to some local news publishers in other towns who have similar audiences to see what works for their newsletters. We plan to continue to expand the weekly mailing to include new restaurants, food trucks, music, theatre and cultural events. We plan to stay away from politics and arrest records. 😉

We recently moved our weekly from one format to another. During the next few weeks, as folks transition over, some of you might receive a second letter from the old source. Apologies for that, but I know that everyone who has been getting a second newsletter has been opening and reading our publication for months. We eliminated over 60% of our initial list months ago. This newsletter enjoys an extremely high open rate that has signaled to all the email services that this is a legitimate and highly desired e-publication for our local community. 📬✨

Thank You.
