John A Cowan Jr., MD, FAANS, is a board-certified neurosurgeon serving teens and adults of all ages in Rome and Northwest Georgia. Dr Cowan is deeply committed to the care of all his patients. His end goal is to mitigate disease and help his patients feel whole. Dr Cowan is a graduate of Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. He completed his internship in general surgery and residency in neurosurgery at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor. Dr Cowan was a health and society scholar of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation at the University of Michigan department of epidemiology. He is board-certified in neurosurgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.

AdventHealth Medical Group is proud to announce that Daniel B Webb, MD, has joined the care team at AdventHealth Medical Group Neurosurgery at Rome. Dr Webb is a fellowship-trained, board-certified neurosurgeon who provides compassionate care for complex spine condition. Dr Webb earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama. He completed his neurosurgical internship and residency at the University of Cincinnati Department. Dr Webb is certified through the American Board of Neurological Surgery and the Georgia Composite Medical Boards. He is now seeing patients.

Angela Winn Ewing, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant caring for adult and geriatric patients. Angela proudly serves her patients with care and compassion while offering her knowledge to help improve their health and well-being.

Dr Marino is an Interventional and Vascular Neurologist who provides expert, life-changing care for aneurysms and stroke and provides patients in Northwest Georgia access to comprehensive stroke care close to home. Dr Marino feels called to neurology because of the complexity of the brain and the possibility of preventing life-altering neurological damage. Dr Marino completed his neurology residency at the University of Massachusetts in Worcester, MA as well as two fellowships: Vascular Neurology as well as Neurointerventional Radiology at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, MD.
