Shorter University Theatre Department has announced its upcoming season with a season theme of “Finding your way home.”
The shows include dramas Peter & The Starcatcher this Fall and Chekov’s Three Sisters in the Spring. The Season also features two musicals including Return to the Forbidden Planet and Sister Act. Theatre fans may more readily recognize Sister Act recently performed by The Rome Little Theatre. Return to the Forbidden Planet brings the Shakespearian Tempest story to life in a 1950s serial space drama. I can’t wait to see Robby the Robot dancing and singing up on the hill. The dramas will run a single weekend while muicals demand two weekends each. These shows always sell out. |
